Partner responsible for CAPIA's Asset Management. Prior to joining CAPIA, from 2006 to 2011, Mr. Rojas served as Chief Investment Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Compass Peru SAFI, where he managed several funds for over US$ 305 million. In September 2006 Mr. Rojas founded the Peru Special Investments Fund (PSIF), the first Peruvian Hedge Fund, which he managed for 5 years, attaining AUM of US$ 135 million. He was also the Portfolio Manager at Compass’ Colombia office, where he managed two funds for over US$ 70 million. Prior, Mr. Rojas worked in Rimac Seguros, where he was in charge of the annuities and net worth portfolio of the company. There, Mr. Rojas was involved in several deals and investments such as M&A, private placements, hedge funds, emerging market equities and bonds. He worked in New York and Lima for Deutsche Bank as a sales trader of the Andean Region. Mr. Rojas is Director of the Peruvian Chapter for the Hedge Fund Management Association, a non-profit organization. Mr. Rojas holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Universidad del Pacifico, and took specialized courses at Harvard University and Universidad TEC de Monterrey.
